Knowledge For The Future

The Future: innovation & Knowledge-creation Luis Frausto

INNOVATION means an amalgamation of human consciousness and knowledge with socio-economic activity, linking all efforts with individuals, organizations, universities and institutions engaged in research and social development.

CONSCIOUSNESS is the universal foundation of knowledge, which represents the basic cognitive element that human beings, organizations and institutions tap into in order to position themselves within the scope and influence of global value chains.

Economic activity and global human behavior have both long turned their back on their basic and genetic roots. This has been the fruit and consequence of paradigmatic egoism that permanently victimize the human mind, and promote it around consumerism, competition for profit, status quo and material possession accumulation.

Although the concept of knowledge is often handled today, little it is recognized as the only permanent source of competitive advantage.

In a world where markets are shifting, new technologies proliferate and competitors multiply rapidly, long-term success is only guaranteed for companies that consistently create knowledge, disseminate it throughout their organizations and enliven it into new technologies, products and services.

These activities define the nature of the “knowledge-creating organization”, in which success and growth are functions specifically driven by “continuous innovation”.

The future state of economies, populations, markets, new generations and ultimately our planet's health are deeply committed and correlated to the ability of organizations and institutions to create knowledge.

On these grounds, in the era of knowledge and widespread use of technologies it is mandatory to reorient our strategies through a focused commitment toward our cosmic environment.

To find the meaning of our personal and organizational relationship with the cosmos, we must resort to the most basic meaning of our existence. By means of consciousness, we must define ourselves as we are; a perfect structure of particles bonded by energy fields and organic molecules in chemical reaction, such as our planet and the whole universe.

Our planet is not a massive giant of gas or an inert rock, such as all other planets we know. Our planet is a place in the universe with perfect conditions for the coexistence of millions of complex forms of life. The planet Earth is our habitat.

To raise awareness among organizations and individuals of the glory of our cosmos, humanity has inherited (from our very existence) science, technology, art and education, and we must develop and adapt our consciousness, knowledge and behavior.

Consequently, in order to respond to the greatness of our cosmos and ensure our global happiness, we must develop our behavior and elevate its scope to our environment, our work, our families and ourselves. Understanding the nature of the universe entails great implications for our economic, social and organizational direction. The universe is not “out there” ̶ for we are here.
